Lovie

The entire reason I love vintage linens, beautiful flowers, all kinds of dishes, and everything to do with hospitality is because of the influence of my grandmothers.  Hence the name of my blog, which is named after both of the wonderful women.  

My sweet mimi, Lovie, passed away last week.  She was 93 years old and lived a wonderful life. 

While we are all sad that she is not with us on earth anymore, we know that she is rejoicing in Heaven now and that we'll see her again one day.  

I picked these pretty camellias in her yard the day of her funeral.  I put them in my milk glass vases because they remind me of her.
