lovie dodd: Wow! How times have changed!

Yes, times have changed, because I have a 13 month old. But, they've changed for the better! We just got back from the beach, and I'm sure all you parents can agree, it's major work! First, just making sure you get everything packed...sippy cups, beach toys, diapers, swim diapers, sunscreen, snacks, tent, pack-n-play, etc...
Then once you get to the beach there is no relaxation like olden days. Oh no, it's non-stop! But I love it!
The little man had a blast!

We gathered seashells, but he really just wanted to eat them. I think I may spray paint them metallic gold and use them in a table setting. I don't know, we'll see.

We went out to eat one night. I'm so glad it was a family friendly place. We have now become "those people".

My mother's day present, other than my awesome bike, was to get to stop at a little flea market on the way home. While my guys napped in the car, I had so much fun looking at all the neat stuff.

I first spotted this deviled egg plate, but I have 3 already (not this color!) but I refrained...

What would you do with these? Keep them the same or update them by painting the brass a different color?

Green glass coke bottles

This was 22 bucks. I don't get it, but there must be a reason.

I always look at pictures of before and afters and say, I can do that! I'm seriously thinking about going back to get these chairs. A coat of paint and a great fabric, bam! a brand new look!
